Paul Troy was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio.
For eleven years he received an education in art and music
from the Toledo Museum of Art and double majored in art and
mathematics at Sylvania High School.
He established a career in the service and entertainment industries
as an Executive Chef, Restaurant Owner, Hotel Manager then
private industry Consultant.
He established a group of enterprises compositely known as
Dream Days, which included an antique retail outlet, furniture restoration
and design shop and an entertainment brokerage agency.
After selling Dream Days in 1989 he went on in the hotel and restaurant
industry as an executive and business consultant.
In 1997 Paul entered the Savannah College of Art and Design and
graduated Suma Cum Laude in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in
Furniture Design and a minor in architectural history.
PKTroyDesign was established in 2001.
Paul is an artist and published poet with a variety of commissioned
designs, to his credit.
